I’ve been a busy little bee so far in 2014. (Some days it doesn’t feel like it. Like today, when I’m feeling blech and just hanging out on the couch. But I have been.)
What I’ve done:
- Finished the #ProjectPowerboat proposal with Tracy Deebs and sent it to our agents. (Note: #ProjectPowerboat is not actually called #ProjectPowerboat. There are no boats, power or otherwise, in this story. It’s a code name!)
- Coordinated and ran my #12DaysofYA contest and mailed out all the prizes.
- Celebrated the release of Pretty in Pearls, the first Forgive My Fins novella.
- Cleaned and decluttered the entire house, except for the garage. (Eeep!)
What I’m working on:
- Trying Texas, the third City Chicks book, is about halfway done. I’m having trouble motivating myself to get the other half done, but I’m hoping that publicly announcing a release date will
shame meencourage me to finish ASAP. Trying Texas, along with rerelease versions of Eye Candy and Straight Stalk, will be available March 18. - Perfect Pitch, the fourth City Chicks book that was my NaNoWriMo 2013 project, will be available April 15. The rough draft is done, I just need to revise and polish.
- Top Secret Project that I’m not allowed to talk about. (Seriously, I’m legally not allowed to talk about it. Hopefully I’ll be able to share news soon.)
- A play. My first play. This is still in the brainstorming, I’m-too-scared-to-start phase.
That’s the state of affairs at the moment.
