Have you ever done something that felt super right at the time, but then later (either almost immediately or maybe a little while down the line) you think maybe it was the wrong decision. Yeah, no, me neither.
A while back, I decided to unpublish my City Chicks series. I had plenty of good reasons for doing that. They didn’t fit my current author brand (aka Myths, Mermaids and Magic), they weren’t selling, and I wasn’t planning on writing more of them.
Those reasons are all still true and all still valid. I’m still more Myths, Mermaids, and Magic than contemporary romantic comedy. They still aren’t selling (because, you know, they weren’t available for sale). And I’m still (probably) not planning on writing more of them.
But… I missed my chicks!
Lydia and Bethany’s stories were the second and third books I ever wrote. I love them and their friends and their love lives and the world they live in.
Yet I resisted. Because of reasons.
And THEN I got a totally fun idea for new cover designs. If there is one thing I love almost as much as coming up with and creating new story worlds, it’s making book covers for them.
So, to make a long story short (too late!) the chicks are BACK!
Allow me to present, the totally refreshed City Chicks series.
When a fashion executive goes to drastic lengths to stop yet another conversation about her too-good-to-be-true-ex, she ends up hiring a male model to play her boyfriend for a weekend… and maybe longer.
A Southern girl turned big city boutique owner with a string of gay ex-boyfriends is out to prove that her latest ex, the star of a gay makeover show, isn’t gay with the help of the show’s talented and tasty chef.
Sparks fly when a ride-or-die city girl goes to the Texas outback to film a TV show and she meets a hard-working cowboy who makes her wonder if there might be something to the country life after all.
All three books are collected in this box set. More than 750 pages of fun, friendship, and flirtation. Save 33% off the individual title price in this special bundle deal!
How fun are those?!
Don’t be fooled by the shiny new package on the outside. These are the same fun and fabulous stories on the inside. (And some of the Look Inside previews still show the old versions.) They just got a makeover.
